前一向心情烦躁，回复邮件时，经常只是把对方想了解的内容写（贴）上，没有抬头及落款，而人家发来的邮件有“孙先生”、“孙经理”、“孙船长”之类的称呼。现在想来，我那样复邮件，真是非常无礼，暴露了自己的修养问题，今后一定杜绝这种做法。

在某译作中读到“哈密瓜”这个词，有点感觉不自然。翻译中经常会遇到这种问题，太有中国文化色彩的词，我会避免使用，例如我不会在译文中把San Francisco 译为“旧金山”。
在某译作中读到这句：“长着不知名树木的森林里，东巴基斯坦难民抱头鼠窜，逃到印度边境苟延残喘。”一句中用了两个成语，我感觉有点过了。

前不久某个周六（看这时间选的），公司组织各航线的调度员座谈。轮到小赵发言，中间提到：“怎样从一个普通员工成为一名调度……”当时我就犯嘀咕：难道我们不是普通员工吗？后来大家也都笑了。不过在航运公司，调度的确很关键，是岸基的生产第一线，做什么都跟公司效益有关，想一想这个担子实在不轻。
一大早起来，查邮件，查船讯网，得知自己的两条船都已靠码头，心里放下两块石头，让之前的担心好像都是多余的。Enjoy the weekend!
看到某译者所译诗中一句：“管道输水后，水泵变得多余，/ 手柄垂在一边：休息，如果你愿意。”我纳闷为什么第一句不译成“有了自来水后，压水井变得多余。”这样不是更好理解？另外说到压水井，前年在汕尾红海湾，看到一排排的当地人房屋前各有一台压水井，也是一种“各自为政”吧。
